The Cricket Association of Chengalpattu, established in 2019, is a dynamic and dedicated organization committed to the development, promotion, and nurturing of cricket talent in the Chengalpattu region. With a rich history and a passionate commitment to the sport, we have become a cornerstone in the local cricketing community, fostering a love for the game and producing skilled cricketers.
FORMATION
Chengalpattu district came into existence on 29th November 2019, when it was carved out of Kanchipuram District after the announcement about the bifurcation of districts on 18- 07-2019. After bifurcation, the teams in the Chengalpattu area joined together and formed a Cricket Association named “DISTRICT CRICKET ASSOCIATION OF CHENGALPATTU” and duly registered under the Societies Act of Tamil Nadu registration department – Regd. No: SRG/117/2020 and started playing league matches among themselves. The DCAC – District Cricket Association of Chengalpattu was recognized and affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association on 18-07-2022.
MISSION
Our mission is to provide a platform for aspiring cricketers, regardless of age or gender, to develop their skills, foster teamwork, and instill the values of sportsmanship. We aim to create an environment where passion meets excellence, nurturing future cricket stars and contributing to the overall growth of the sport in Chengalpattu.
